The Courage to Keep Learning – By Barry Matheny, V.P. of Relocation Services
We live in a world where change is fast and many of us are just trying to stay caught up! Tom’s article, recently posted on RISMedia, was both informative and a good reminder. “On the heels of the busy real estate season, I challenge you to take a few minutes to focus on what you learned over the last few months.”
- “Grade Yourself”: Write down key categories that affect your career most! Now grade each one!
- “Identify Your Strengths”: What areas do you rise to the top? What contributes to your success?
- “Determine Opportunities”: Look at those areas where you score is low & the why behind each one.
- “The Next Six Months”: Think about what you can do to capitalize on your strengths and continue to grow. Pinpoint one or two areas of opportunity that will help you the most.
As we prepare to finish our year strong these are good reminders to set ourselves up for the New Year. I am confident that it will be a great year filled with many opportunities and an excellent time to learn along the way.
