Snoqualmie, WA
Welcome to Our Community
Named for the breathtaking and world famous waterfalls, Snoqualmie is a friendly little city in one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Though we’re close to Seattle and Bellevue, it feels like we’re a world away.
Fans of David Lynch might recognize parts of Snoqualmie that were featured in Twin Peaks. He picked this spot for good reason: the towering Cascade mountains and acres of old-growth forest feel like they’re in our backyards. But rest assured, our weather isn’t always that moody. Our summers are bright and warm and our fall days can’t be beat.
Snoqualmie Falls attract more than a million visitors each year. Salish Lodge, which used to be called Snoqualmie Falls Lodge, sits right at the top of the falls. Visitors come for a spa day, a place to stay during a ski retreat, or just to spend a few relaxing days in one of the luxurious guest rooms, each with their own fireplace.
But people who chose to spend a lifetime here, rather than a short getaway, understand why Money Magazine rated Snoqualmie the number five best place to live in the Country. In 2017, we also received the honor of being named Washington state’s safest city.
Of course, Snoqualmie residents love to get outdoors to ski, hike, golf, or boat or fish on a nearby lake. But our arts and cultures scene give us plenty of reasons to stay indoors as well. The Northwest Railway Museum tells the history of how railroads shaped this part of the state. And the Art Gallery of SnoValley exhibits the creative talents of locals.
