Silverdale, WA

Welcome to Our Community

Silverdale sits in the middle of Kitsap Peninsula on Dyes Inlet and is home to scenic trails and spectacular views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, and the Olympic Mountains. Beaches here are easily accessible and provide a plethora of water activities. With shopping, movie theaters, and world-class restaurants and breweries, Silverdale has become a destination for residents throughout the Peninsula.

The Kitsap Peninsula is one of the most beautiful spots in the Northwest. Outdoor lovers flock to Silverdale for our beaches, which provide boating, kayaking and fishing. Other popular activities with locals are hiking and biking trails and bird watching. In fact, the Kitsap Audubon Society hosts a monthly, guided walk along Silverdale’s six-mile Clear Creek trail. The trail also winds through salmon habitat and wetlands, and is easy accessible from several parks.

In many ways, Silverdale is an economic hub on the Peninsula due to the many shopping and dining opportunities here. The Kitsap mall is home to Macy’s, Dick’s sporting goods and many other retailers. But we also have many boutique shops for art, antiques, and cafes in the Old Town district.

One of the best parts of Silverdale is its proximity to the other beautiful towns on the peninsula, like Port Orchard, Bremerton and Poulsbo. Bainbridge Island, Vashon Island and Seattle are a gorgeous ferry ride away.
