Centered around the lake and park for which this neighborhood is named, Greenlake sits in north central Seattle. This is a popular neighborhood with families, for its walkability and easy access to neighborhood restaurants, grocery stores, athletic fields, library, community center, and schools.
And of course, the lake itself is a huge draw. A 2.8 mile paved path circles the lake and is a great place for walking, running, biking, and skating any time of day. In the warmer months, you can rent a paddle boat or bring a kayak to get out on the water.
Greenlake is lined with traditional, craftsman, and mid-century modern homes. Many of these homes have been updated and added on to over the years, making many houses live much larger than they look from the outside.
It’s easy to get out the door and keep on moving throughout this neighborhood. With easy access to downtown via Interstate 5 and Aurora Avenue, it’s no wonder so many people love calling Greenlake home.
