Between the mountains and the coast, Centralia is a hub for those traveling to metropolitan areas north and south. Halfway between Portland and Seattle, you’ll find this quaint, railroad town. The historic downtown keeps its charm with old-fashioned light poles, brick buildings, and murals marking prominent events in the city’s history. You can easily get in touch with nature in one of the many parks and natural areas, or get some serious shopping down at the Factory Outlet Mall. Closer to downtown, you’ll find neighborhoods with older homes and a more urban or suburban feel. Just a few minutes in any direction, however, you will find larger homes on acreage if space is what you’re looking for.
