Auburn is a popular location for commuters, and the Sounder train runs right through. Seattle in about 30 minutes by train and you can be in Lakewood in less than 35 minutes. There’s a small Boeing plant in Auburn which makes it a major employer here. The Outlet Collection is another popular spot for all your shopping needs. And bordered on the east by Muckleshoot Tribal Lands, you can find quick access to the casino and the Emerald Downs racetrack.

Many small farming towns were incorporated into Auburn from the 1960s  to as recently as 2007. And the neighborhoods still carry their historic roots. Downtown Auburn gives you a small-town USA feel, dotted with historic buildings and charming craftsman-style homes.

The Lea Hill neighborhood to the east of the valley is home to the Green River Community College and is a popular residential area.

And on the southern tip, you’ll find the master-planned community of Lakeland Hills with condos, single-family homes, and easy access to neighborhood schools, shops, and everything you could need.

With an extensive system of parks and a portion of the Interurban Trail, there are plenty of places to get out and explore in Auburn.
