Something fun is happening in Arlington year round. With a performing arts center, pioneer museum, and a revitalized downtown area, Olympic Avenue has turned into a gathering place and festival venue. Swap meets, car shows, farmers market, art shows, and holiday parades are just a few of the activities you’ll find happening downtown at any given time.

Trails for walking, running, biking, and horseback riding weave throughout Arlington. You can also spend time at one of Arlington’s 17 city-run parks including nature preserves, sports fields, playgrounds, boat launches, and gardens.

Historically the economy was based on timber and agriculture, but it has grown to incorporate jobs in education, manufacturing, and healthcare. Arlington remains a popular spot with commuters with over half of the residents traveling to larger urban centers for work.

Good schools, easy drive times, and plenty to do, it’s no wonder so many people call Arlington home.
