I’m excited to share that our very own Corinne Mossman has been honored with the Worldwide ERC® Distinguished Service Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the workforce mobility industry. This prestigious award also adds the “Senior” designation to her CRP and GMS-T certifications — a testament to her sustained leadership and volunteer service. Please join me in congratulating Corinne!
Corinne’s contributions to WERC® support the advancement of best practices and also provide direct benefits to our company by keeping us informed about emerging trends, innovations, and collaborative opportunities. Through this involvement, Corinne continues to advocate on behalf of our agents and the clients we serve, ensuring those voices are represented in discussions that influence real estate and mobility practices at both national and global levels. This level of engagement reflects Corinne’s and John L. Scott’s shared commitment to leadership, contribution, and advocacy. We hope it inspires others to get involved in ways that align with their values and goals as every contribution helps shape the future.
This recognition acknowledges Corinne’s contributions to WERC, including service on the WERC Buyer Broker Ad Hoc Committee, the Buyer Broker Resource Development Committee, and the North American Real Estate & Mortgage Policy Forum – all roles that allowed Corinne to help shape best practices and elevate industry standards for real estate and mobility professionals supporting relocating employees. She also participated in the WERC Regional Leaders group, collaborating with other regional relocation council leaders to align strategies and strengthen community impact. In addition she served on the recruiting committee to launch the inaugural cohort for the WERC Momentum Mentorship Program, which supports and elevates the next generation of leaders in workforce mobility. Her work on the WERC Awards Committee and the Value Creation Committee further contributed to reinforcing the value of professionals who support global talent mobility.
She also had the privilege of serving as chair of the WERC Foundation for Workforce Mobility scholarship program. Under her leadership, the program expanded its eligibility criteria to become significantly more inclusive. The scholarship—originally available to high school seniors preparing for university —was opened to post-secondary students, including those in trade and vocational programs. The definition of “relocation” was also broadened to include a wide range of mobile experiences such as exchange programs, military transfers, refugee or asylum-seeking situations, natural disaster displacement, medical moves, foster care, and moving for the first time for higher education. A new application pathway was also created for students residing in areas without a WERC-recognized Regional Relocation Group. These updates helped further the Foundation’s mission to energize the global talent mobility community through charitable giving. That year, 30 scholarships were awarded—many to students who became eligible due to the expanded criteria.
Corinne expresses deep gratitude to her company for supporting her industry involvement, and to her team and agents whose insights and lived experiences have informed and strengthened every contribution. Their stories and perspectives have been foundational, and Corinne hopes others will feel inspired to explore meaningful ways to get involved and shape the future of our industry.
