Boeing ramps up hiring as defense division secures more business
Despite cutting its workforce by 16,100 jobs amid the aviation slowdown, Boeing continues to hire and wants to talk with engineers and other skilled workers who have or can quickly get a security clearance.
The jet maker is organizing a virtual online career event for June 30 and wants to talk to skilled workers about filling jobs in Kent, Tukwila and other facilities across the United States.
