Michelle, outdoor movies at Redhook Brewery, dinner at the impeccable Herbfarm, and hot air balloon rides attract folks from the around the world and down the street. Many people know Woodinville for its excellent wineries and breweries; so what is going on this month? Are you looking for some cool things to do with your friends or a date? Well here are a few things coming up in the wine city of Woodinville.

Chateau St. Michelle:

This is Washington’s oldest winery celebrating more than 50 years of winemaking. Chateau Ste. Michelle is one of the few wineries in the world with two state-of-the-art facilities.  They have two different locations that produce specific types of wine, one for red and one for white. The white wines are made at the Chateau in Woodinville Washington, while the reds are made in Eastern Washington at the Canoe Ridge Estate winery.

Tsillan Cellars Woodinville:

When you can’t make it to Chelan, you can find your favorite winery in Woodinville. Tsillan Cellars specializes in the production of estate grown wine. Many wineries produce wine from their own vineyards as well as from purchased fruit. Estate wine refers to land owned by the actual winery, and to small-scale wine producers, it means a lot. This can have a positive impact on the final product.

Efeste Winery:

Efeste winery has a rich history. During the Great Depression and prohibition, the Ferrelli family faced many challenges. Their family sold jug wine out of the basement just to get by. Over the years, it became the annual tradition for the family to make wine with the old wine press. In 2001, a new tradition began by bottling and labeling this garage wine into something spectacular. They invested in state of the art wine making equipment and planned to “just make a couple of barrels.” They never imagined making a couple of barrels would blossom into Efeste winery.

2/14 Roses & Rose’ A Valentines Dinner Soiree $95

Event Calendar

Only a few were named above for their events taking place next month but Woodinville is home to over a 100 different wineries to check out. If you did not want to drive from winery to winery, you could check out the Woodinville warehouse district wineries.
