In the southern waters of beautiful Lake Washington sits Mercer Island. Those of us lucky enough to live here enjoy the easy access to Seattle and Bellevue and all the food and culture and shopping they offer, as well as the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Mercer Island is considered by many to be the premier residential community to live in the Seattle Metro area.  Many Mercer Island homeowners have views of either Mount Rainier to the South, Bellevue and the Cascades to the east, or Seattle and a gorgeous Olympic mountains to the West. Many of our parks take advantage of these views as well as the waters of Lake Washington. We’ve got boating, fishing, swimming in the summer – you-name-it.

Families choose to live on Mercer Island so they can send their kids to our top-notch schools. Mercer Island High School is well regarded throughout the Pacific Northwest for the number of its graduates who are accepted to top universities. Residents who don’t have school age children still benefit from this reputation because it keeps their property values that a good level.

We love Mercer Island because while Seattle and Bellevue are close, the island has a community feel all its own. It’s like a world away.
